Inaction saps the vigour of the mind...

Oh how nice it was to be back at teaching and training myself after being sick for a while! Yes, it felt hard...muscles were tired easily, but nevertheless it felt good to be able to use them again! What I've noticed since being sick, is that it can be such a slippery slope...being inactive for a while (because rest was what my body needed), can make it that much harder to get back into the game. This is what I felt happening: I was exhausted, so wasn't active (which is good! and we need to honour rest!), but after a while, the inactivity also made me MORE tired...mentally and physically I noticed I was kind of in a slump.
